Software development tools maker JFrog (NASDAQ:FROG) will be reporting earnings tomorrow after market hours. Here's what you need to know.

Last quarter JFrog reported revenues of $88.64 million, up 23.1% year on year, beating analyst revenue expectations by 1.2%. It was a decent quarter for the company, with accelerating growth in large customers but its net revenue retention rate in jeopardy. The company added 35 enterprise customers paying more than $100,000 annually to a total of 848.

This quarter analysts are expecting JFrog's revenue to grow 21.3% year on year to $92.85 million, slowing down from the 29.2% year-over-year increase in revenue the company had recorded in the same quarter last year. Adjusted earnings are expected to come in at $0.12 per share.

Majority of analysts covering the company have reconfirmed their estimates over the last thirty days, suggesting they are expecting the business to stay the course heading into the earnings. The company only missed Wall St's revenue estimates once over the last two years, and has on average exceeded top line expectations by 1.9%.

Looking at JFrog's peers in the software development segment, some of them have already reported Q4 earnings results, giving us a hint of what we can expect. Dynatrace delivered top-line growth of 22.7% year on year, beating analyst estimates by 2.1% and Cloudflare reported revenues up 32% year on year, exceeding estimates by 2.7%.
