Mirion (MIR) To Report Earnings Tomorrow: Here Is What To Expect

Radiation safety company Mirion (NYSE:MIR) will be reporting earnings this Tuesday after market hours. Here’s what you need to know.

Mirion met analysts’ revenue expectations last quarter, reporting revenues of $223.1 million, up 7.9% year on year. It was an exceptional quarter for the company, with a beat of analysts’ EPS estimates and an impressive beat of analysts’ full-year EPS guidance estimates.

This quarter, analysts are expecting Mirion’s revenue to grow 10.6% year on year to $281.2 million, in line with the 10.4% increase it recorded in the same quarter last year. Adjusted earnings are expected to come in at $0.16 per share.

Analysts covering the company have generally reconfirmed their estimates over the last 30 days, suggesting they anticipate the business to stay the course heading into earnings. Mirion has only missed Wall Street’s revenue estimates once over the last two years, exceeding top-line expectations by 1.7% on average.

Looking at Mirion’s peers in the tech hardware & electronics segment, some have already reported their Q4 results, giving us a hint as to what we can expect. Napco delivered year-on-year revenue growth of 12.2%, beating analysts’ expectations by 0.7%, and OSI Systems reported revenues up 10.5%, topping estimates by 2.4%.
