Cybersecurity software maker Rapid7 (NASDAQ:RPD) will be reporting earnings tomorrow after the bell. Here's what to expect.

Last quarter Rapid7 reported revenues of $157.3 million, up 33.9% year on year, beating analyst revenue expectations by 2.1%. It was a mixed quarter for the company, with a strong top-line growth but decelerating customer growth. The company added 124 customers to a total of 10,407.

This quarter analysts are expecting Rapid7's revenue to grow 29.8% year on year to $164.1 million, in line with the 27.8% year-over-year increase in revenue the company had recorded in the same quarter last year. Adjusted loss is expected to come in at -$0.04 per share.

Majority of analysts covering the company have reconfirmed their estimates over the last thirty days, suggesting they are expecting the business to stay the course heading into the earnings. The company has a history of exceeding Wall St's expectations, beating revenue estimates every single time over the past two years on average by 3.35%.

The technology sell-off has been putting pressure on stocks since November and while some of the software stocks have fared somewhat better, they have not been spared, with share price declining 3.08% over the last month. Rapid7 is down 5.51% during the same time, and is heading into the earnings with analyst price target of $101.9, compared to share price of $66.29.
